Religion is the first Influencer cult and infanticide rolled into one. A purposeful God was the Marketing Department of the town meeting, but in the contemporary world, town meetings now sell their version of God, with little concern for useful increase to natural resources (outside competitive anthropic selfish growth).

Religion tries to kill everything about a child that doesn't 'belong', until all of the children are obedient Stepford servants of the Influencer/Aristocrat in the sky.

And then there's the absolute corruption of absolute dictates about morality. Abuse, politics, trappings.

Believe whatever you want. Leave children alone. If your religion can't survive with an adult-only constituency, then it's just another corporate scam taking advantage of fear, ignorance and naivete..
