Thank you, Tessa. Once again your intellect shines on a fundamental issue that plagues humanity: selfish competition based on inherited cultures. Yes, borders have purpose and as long as we have borders immigration must be moderated for many reasons. Unfortunately, we have based all 'civilized' politics on a selfish anthrocentric foundation: people don't serve the places we enclose. Instead, our cultures serve prophets/profits of competing clever schemes that more often than not aren't allowed to be questioned or criticized. Whether it's a God, a brand, a humanist ideology or just money, the paradigm inside borders is, "Thou shall have Dominion" and "Thou shalt have no other gods before Me". Once you question if humans benefit their places, most cultures become just another consumerism brand.
