Thanks for highlighting the efforts of agriculture to improve their practices. Too often, we only see stories about how farmers are destroying the world.

That said, you're still thinking anthropocentrically. We need to stop thinking that humans are the center of everything, especially present humans.

Our efforts as farmers and nurturers must change economies from extraction philosophies toward contribution philosophies. Too many people still accept discussions about "carrying capacity" of the Earth without considering the carrying capacity of humans supporting their grandchildren's places.

If our economic philosophy was oriented toward the soil instead of away from it, then things like population numbers and competitive wealth would take care of themselves, as everyone's occupations would be contributing in some way to future resources of the planet, rather than artificial competing wants of the Invisible Hand.
