Thanks for knowing the difference between the Fairfax and a flat tax. ☺

Take a moment (or an hour) and start writing down all of the overhead costs of our income tax code. The complexity of the insurance industry, the health care companies, the farm subsidies, the government employees and military who have taxes taken out of their income (wtf?), The hours spent just filling out forms and the clutter of saving the receipts…..it goes on and on.

Then, there’s the obfuscation of political influence, the profitable return on investment for tax lobbying, the corruption caused by turning everyone against good bureaucracy by the political “always lower taxes" market saturation..

Not to mention the mental health effects of the stress in spring.

Liberals automatically respond, “sales taxes are regressive”. Yeah, right. So is a dead planet.

The rich get richer because it’s easier to work for someone who can afford an accountant than to just be a useful citizen. If people can’t work for someone richer, they give up because it’s too hard to start a business (your point).

Keep up the good work. I’m too cynical for it.
