GM dealers actively discouraged Volt sales anyway. They didn't want to learn or sell the concept, even though it was probably one of the best vehicles for the situation (American travel and commuting). I own one. It's 7 years old. Been to the dealer 3 times for updates and oil changes. Solar panels to charge it made the commute almost free until work-at-home took over.

Two words to anyone who doesn't like the Volt:

"Sport Mode"
