The choices driving the present inefficient (waste and useless activity) life economy market are centered at the purchase point. False information, deferred/externalized costs, uninformed purchasers, and unpaid labors all factor in at this decision point. If the purchase choices of rich people were actually proportional to the resources used, stolen from the present and stolen from the future (credit), then the seemingly "easy" decision of things like restaurants vs home cooking or driving vs public transit become wholly different.
