The entertaining statement of today was "Intitutionalized stupidity needs to be overturned."

I think it’s funny in its conflict with civilization. Institutionalized stupidity is what homo sapiens is all about. Civilization is the process of building walls between people and the environment that spawned us.

What, exactly have we adapted to except cars, oil, money and corn syrup? Fanatical competition over competing fanaticisms: amplified by tax-deductible brainwashing of children (religion and marketing..but I repeat myself).
