The eco-conversation is always about what number or what level of consumption the Earth can carry. We have to stop thinking that the Earth is here for humanity and realize that humanity has a responsibility to put more support and usefulness into the world than we consume in resources.
Getting that point across has to happen at the decision point: the checkouts.
