The nature of humans is to adapt to their environment and cooperate to create systems (tribes, markets, education, bureaucracy) that make more humans to consume more resources and become exploitable by bullies. (the highest paid public employee in almost every state is a sportsball coach).

Moderation of the desires of humans has to take place at the point they make decisions: the checkouts. In a market-based society, that's where all policy is driven and justified.

Competition as a societal structure has to end. Logically, that means UBI, health and all government overhead should be visible as sales taxes.

The rich get richer because the poor are forced to work for them to buy their stuff.

Most of the things we have now are unnecessary, and most of the jobs are bullshit to keep unnecessary things at the forefront of our lives, and to pretend that humans must compete for a place extracting resources from their own children's places.

Humans developed language in order to cooperate. They invented religion in order to exclude strangers(most gods are actually jealous war gods). Governments were developed to keep bullies in control of Capital over Labor using a layer cake of sycophantic bullies.

All of this takes place by first establishing civilization (city walls) to separate humans from Nature's responsibilities.

The frosting on the cake is the imaginary value of money. Once that melts, it all falls apart.

Let them eat cake.
