The Process is probably the All. Net Future Usefulness: a thing persists if its behavior contributes more usefulness to its future (self, environment, offspring) than it consumes.

Consciousness adds the potential of Intentionality to Nature's toolbox, but it's still in the prototype testing phase. Pass or fail depends on whether it destroys itself based on any imaginary premise. The worst is believing any premise is valid that is based either on consumptionism or competition.

Evil: an action taken based on an unquestioned belief.

Human: a primate that builds a model of the world inside its brain, and upon physical maturity, moves a model of its Self inside that model, avoiding reality at all costs.

God is the marketing department for town meetings. What the town chooses to do at the meetings determines their survivability. These days, most just figure out ways to sell God(or beat it into women and children).

Most people in modern civilization believe they "sense" God in consciousness because domestication has taken away their sense of everything else.
