The Rodney Dangerfield of cars
You get no respect. I love the Volt my wife has, but it gets no respect, either, even though I think it is the best piece of auto engineering since the Hemi. I've had trucks since 1990 because I did have things to haul.
You do have my sympathy. Just hang in there. It's not you, it's the Economy of Stupid. Marketers have spent 100 years making people stupid so they'll buy stuff, but they forgot that the infrastructure depends on people being not stupid. When project 2025 CyberFuck gets done shaking the government toddlers to death, floods and storms take out the roads, and the geriatric dependents rise up and start shooting blindly, you can hopefully charge up the Tesla with your solar panels and drive down to the farmers market with charged batteries to exchange for food.
