The very first response should be that people don’t need health insurance: they need good health.

That might mean a program that is focused on food and exercise as much as on drugs. By separating the FDA, Education and Agriculture departments, we are spending even more on poor health by feeding people junk and failing to teach them better ways.

The free rapacity of market medicine is killing people because it is profitable.

Politicians side with the corporations because graft is more comfortable than leadership in a graft system and the press is failing to support courageous behavior. More often, the press sets up new leaders as spectacles to focus ad revenue.
