The worst thing I read and have never reconciled was, "Don't eat of the tree of knowledge". As a 10yo, I thought, "WTF am I going to bible study for? This is just idiotic." I was reading Nat Geographic and the encyclopedias by the time I was 8. I wasn't going to buy the crap they were selling. My mother decided late in life to convert to the Big One with the fish sale friday hat. I could only laugh and wish her well. People gotta believe in something, even if it's wrong, because if they stop believing in magic, luck and God, they would have to take risk, thought and response ability seriously.

We can't have that.
