Why is there a fight over who owns things when there should be cooperation over improving places?

This is Capitalism's purpose: to turn everyone into a selfish child. Putin has already lost that part, so he might as well find a corporate lawyer to write everything up as a limited liability corporation and negotiate the profit sharing with Ukraine.
