This is exactly the problem with today's competitive bullshit society. It isn't that we don't have the same struggles, but that there are similarities in almost all struggles, and finding those commonalities is the key to being truly civil to each other, rather than living according to the differences in enclaves of privilege. The differences that everyone is writing about now are the struggle of human existence: the struggle to find common ground and usefulness to place.

You are a good writer. I hope you continue. I am thinking of dropping the writing hobby myself because the unique things I have to say are not welcome in polite company (or anywhere in humanity, actually, and the things people want to hear are just boring as Hell to me.

Humanity needs to be knocked sensible but money has made us all senseless.

A friend and I have spent the last 15 years discussing human intentionality (or lack thereof) and senselessness. The bottom line is that people just aren't as unique or intentional in the animal kingdom as they believe they are, and that unquestioned belief is making us all do Evil by proxy of "It's The Economy, Stupid".
