This is what I mean when I say that humans have evolved to not know the difference between bullying and leadership.
As for violence, farming is mostly just killing stuff and cleaning up stuff. The rich have been farming the poor for so long that we no longer can tell if we are being cleaned up or killed. At some point, the violence has picked up enough speed going downhill that it starts rolling uphill. The longer and harder the rich have been driving down, then the more momentum the violence will have.
