UBI based on sales tax.
The closest proposal is the FairTax (prebate and sales tax to replace income tax code).
UBI without sales tax is inflationary. Sales tax without UBI is regressive.
That's my proposal, anyway. All decisions in a capitalist market system are made at the purchase point. Politicians and corporations justify everything they do based on "what consumers want", but they also get a tax deduction for brainwashing children (advertising) and stealing our time and attention (marketing).
Second point is this question: "What are people FOR?"
Every proposal so far is based on the acceptance that human beings are not an integral part of the natural environment that need to contribute more to its future than they consume or destroy.
Future people and their resources have to be the priority, or else nothing is sustainable over the long term.
