Value: future usefulness. Something that can be used by nature or humans.

Sustainable: persistence. Things survive over the long term by being net useful to their future self or offspring or the environment's value. In other words, contributing more value than consumed in resources.

This is the best Chat so far (that I have read), but as science media gets caught up in information and mathematics vs material physics, talk of economics gets caught up in energy and money rather than food and resources.

As we think about positive solar energy, it's important that resource economics be considered in the greater context than the anthropic bias.
