Very few people even try to understand this, but the solution is to call the Republicans' bluff with the FairTax: make it UBI based on sales tax and burn the income tax code, putting all of civilization's overhead costs into VAT. No more tax writeoffs for foundations, no more 'non'profit bullshit, no more captive 'investment' in corruption (competing moral turpitude), and instead of tax-deductible theft of our time and attention(advertising driving sensationalism), we pay people to be useful members of communities, fully informed at decision points as to the cost of corporate products.

Project 2025 is just another label for the original McCarthy and Dulles anti-communism: the Mussolini fascist corporate-owned commons. Corporations can do it because everyone thinks it's a bargain to work for inflated money and buy cheap facsimiles of life while their places sink into toxic wastes and the government hides the costs in perpetually increasing public debts.
