The thing about marriage is not the timing or waiting, it's the assholery that can come early or later, so if you're the marryin' type, you just do it and see. If not (any longer), you don't. A required class (especially about divorce: like those car crash movies in driver's ed) and a minimum age (30) would help alot, I think. Unfortunately, too many people hang all their clothes on that hook (way too young) and don't want to be the only one digging a hole, so the lawyer industry was created. After they get done, at least one wishes they had just dug a hole. The only reason churches have steeples is to keep an eye on brides. The wedding dress is designed to prevent digging and make them conspicuous in the moonlit fields.
