We need to emphasize that advertising is THEFT of our time and attention: that's why those commodities are so valuable on the black markets right now. They are all that is left of humanity's functional being and doing in capitalism's debt-ridden folly of resource extraction.

Evil: an action taken based on an unquestioned belief.

Skepticism is the anti-evil. Life is the anti-entropy.

Advertising-based economics is evil pursuit of perpetually accelerating entropy. It is a Death cult.

Cars and money are the dominant species on the planet. Contemporary humans believe that present humanity (pursuit of happiness) is more important than future life (human or otherwise).

The opposite of Evil is not 'good': it is skepticism. Good work has no opposite. It is work that contributes more to future resources than it consumes. Good work happens everywhere and can be done by any species.

Evil requires people to choose not to question their beliefs. The greatest evil is teaching children to believe blindly, whether that belief is in gods, guns, gurus or gummi bears (gratification).
