We often miss that this is the point of sports as well. The point of a sport is to teach the restrictions (rules and self-control) in the face of our competitive animal fighting instincts. Massive promotion of competition itself in all things has become a high price on our mores and Earth’s resources.

Mostly, humanity has allowed Evil to become just another price among prices: decided upon by accountants and aristocrat marketers rather than keeping a healthy skepticism of all our desires (natural or induced).

Evil: an action taken based on an unquestioned belief.

Evil is orders of magnitude more profitable in the short term (one generation or administration/civilization).
