We can't make friends with Iran and Venezuela because without war in the Middle East, the price of oil would be 5 bucks a barrel and Texas would collapse. We can't help African countries because American churches would collapse without a place to pretend to help and collect donations for new Cadillacs. Without those donations, the RNC would wither and die. Without prescription drug blackmail and the income tax code corruption, the DNC would wither and die. Setting up a drug-addled VP's kid in some obscure Russian Mafia job seemed like a no-brainer when there was no chance of his daddy becoming president, but when the Old White Vote picked him as the 'least offensive, most spendy' candidate, everyone had to scramble to bury the back room network story.
