When Obama was elected, I had written a letter to the paper that was published that day about how it was a good change toward rational health care.

I received a nasty phone call the next morning from a stranger. Thanks to caller ID, I looked up his address. I sent him a couple of bucks and told him I understood his anger because I used to be that way, too. I told him the money was to go out and have a beer on me and relax.

(Mostly, the point was to prove to him that I knew where he lived.... ;)
