Why?

We should be trying to get rid of at least 1 billion of those to start off. The assumption is always that people need to have cars because they have cars. Maybe there's something fundamentally wrong with civilization and human leadership if people have no collective purpose other than to buy cars to drive to the dealer to buy the next fucking car every 3 years just because the piece of junk is falling apart or the new one has Bluetooth and 20 inch rims.
