Yeah…then there’s the sports. If all you are saying is true, then we need to seriously re-evaluate what happens when all of that “community” and “social” integration is almost entirely oriented on the school sporting teams and competitive fanaticism, as well as the neotony of it all. Some kids are driven away from it more than included, but none of the ‘included’ will ever know what they’ve done. If our culture, food and apathy makes our children stupid and lazy, how will they ever find out?

The most recent trend is for private colleges to admit they were scamming students by granting scholarships to pay for $40,000/yr tuition to make it comparable to public schools’ $20,000/yr. Now they just charge the 20 and call it fine. It’s like shopping at Kohl’s. Always a sale on stuff that’s ridiculously overpriced.

The price of the gatekeeping seems to be as much as the actual cost of the educational contribution of these places. The rest is just money thrown around so rich people can put their names on things.

Similar to the health ‘care’ problem, nobody is talking about the actual costs/values of these things: just the anally originated prices. By inflating the starting wages after college, they claim it justifies the inflated price of an education. By raising the cost of entry, it justifies all of the people who are then forced into the military or crap jobs at slave wages. The so-called “academics” just aren’t. They are sycophants for the corporations and the Empire, yet they’ve somehow taken over the keys to every kid’s success.
