You should correct it to say, "Nobody who anyone listens to knows what to do."

There are plenty of people who know how to change and improve the world for the better, but they aren't rich enough or famous enough for anyone to care what they say.

Nobody listens to climate scientists until the only thing they can think about is dangerous weather.

Nobody listens to a sustenance farmer until they have no sustenance.

We know damn well what needs to be done: it's just that the vast majority of humans alive today were born into a world based on uselessness, blind competition over useless activity, and wasting resources as fast as possible.

The System of systems is not eager to change 90% of what people do every day.

Almost nobody wants to be shown how stupid they have been, and if they are, they are more likely to kill you for telling them than to change how they behave.

People will do the right thing when the right thing is easier than the wrong things.

Consumerism is simultaneously the easiest and wrongest thing to do.

Competitive fanatical (unquestioned) consumerism is the most popular sport, the highest paying job, the most popular place to live and above all, the best sex that produces lots of little brainwashed consumers taught to Believe they can bully the planet into giving them everything they want.

Sales tax,

UBI,

Cooperative useful work that improves places and makes people healthy.

It's not hard to see, but all of the bridges between humans and reality were burned when cities were built on protected piles of money.
