You're absolutely right. My perspective is skewed by experiences of being alive in the American Immersion School of poverty, farming, military service, corporate development of schemes that produce crappy products for "free choice" market competition and bribery for tax breaks, all piled on a society that fanatically worships bullies and celebrities for no reason except their aggression, wealth and privilege. This includes the liberal versions of the same who hide behind complexity to avoid making real authentic connection with the very processes and programs they created to pretend to solve problems.
