You've perfectly captured why I hated reading the A B books to my kids and Washington DC at the same time: blind fucking stupid. Stupid was funny until it was no longer surprising. Now, we have stupid human tricks, competitive stupidity('reality' TV), and The Economy of Stupid; all wrapped up in commercials celebrating Meanifest Destiny.
